Lena, an infectious disease doctor, moves to a town in northern Argentina, where she discovers that a laboratory is experimenting with a vaccine that causes symptoms impossible to cure amid a dengue epidemic. From this, Lena suspects that the virus might be mutating, while also finding herself under the dangerous scrutiny of the corporation conducting the illegal tests.
