Nathaniel Mathis has worked in front of and behind the camera.  Hailing from Houston, Texas, he began his creative life as story teller writing short stories on his father’s legal pad and typing them up on a smith corona typewriter.  He has written and directed SUBLET, a thriller short that won best Thriller at the LA FILM FESTIVAL, a comedy pilot called BACKSTAGE and several stage plays around the Los Angeles area.  PIECES OF LILO is his debut feature film, which just won Best Narrative Feature at the Santa Clarita International Film Festival.
